The artist who has won multiple awards is planning to leave the United States permanently and has put his Beverly Hills estate on the market for nearly $130 miℓℓion.
This is the last of his properties in the country, and he has no intention of buying any more in the US.
According to an insider, he feels most comfortable in his hometown of Toronto, Canada’s largest city.
He purchased the California estate, which covers 8.1 hectares, just a year ago for $104 miℓℓion. It was previously owned by English pop star Robbie Williams, who bought it in 2015 for US$33m.
Located in the hills above Benedict Canyon, the main house sits on 20 acres of land and has seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. The property features canyon, city, and ocean views, as well as lush gardens and grounds.
The listing also includes formal living and dining rooms, a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast room, a library, and a two-family room, one of which doubles as a screening room.
The staff quarters have three additional ensuite bedrooms. Amenities include a garage for up to 11 cars, an in-house elevator, a wine cellar, a gym, and a game room. There is also a pool/guesthouse with a mosaic-tiled pool and an indoor/outdoor kitchen, a hidden tennis court, and an orchard.
Around the same time he purchased the Beverly Hills estate, Drake listed his previous Los Angeles properties, which included a trio of properties in guard-gated Hidden Hills for $22 million.
He eventually sold two of the three properties to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford for $11 million and the last one to a former US assistant lawyer general appointed during Do𝚗alԀ Tгᴜмp‘s presidency for $14.8 miℓℓion.
Drake will remain in his custom-built, sprawling 4,650 sqm mansion on the affluent Bridle Path in Toronto, which he bought in 2015 for roughly $6.7 million. The home includes amenities such as an NBA regulation-size indoor basketball court with a pyramidal skylight, a backlit slab of Nero Assoluto granite offering interchangeable atmosphere lighting over the pool, and a 1,815kg tub of faceted black marble carved from a single block in the master bath.
