From Beats to Wings: PSquare Takes Flight with Extravagant Jet Collection, Turning Passion into Luxury

Even while their fans were celebrating what appeared to be their acquisition, it has come to light that the Nigerian musical duo P-Square—Peter and Paul Okoye—do not actually own a private jet, as early rumors had claimed.

In an exclusive interview with Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review,” P-Square publicist Bayo Adetu provided an explanation of the situation. He revealed that although the corporation had a contract with a private aviation company, they did not actually own a private aircraft. This agreement allowed them to use a private plane that was reserved whenever needed.

Regarding the private plane, Adetu stated, “I believe it has been added to P-Square’s entourage because we have a deal with a private jet company.” P-Square is therefore entitled to employ the private aircraft for any formal show, day or night. P-Square remained the only African artist with this kind of exclusive agreement, allowing them unrestricted use of a private jet anytime they pleased.

Adetu confirmed that the reported deal with Universal Records was true. “That’s true, indeed,” he remarked. Finalization of the agreement took place on Thursday, May 31, 2012. He clarified that the agreement did not apply only to South Africa but to the entire world. The contract was signed in South Africa, and the documentation was forwarded to Universal Records’ offices throughout the world. On a worldwide level, this arrangement was significant.

Adetu hinted at positive results from this arrangement. I think they have a lot of good things ahead of them, this contract being just one of them. All parties find the arrangement satisfactory, and we are comfortable with every facet of it. That’s all I have to say for now.
