A noble little dog closed her eyes as she was held by the person who tried to help her when she needed it most. After so much suffering, she had finally found peace.

When you hear about an animal that was rescued, the first thing you should ask yourself is: What could their story have been like? In small or large measure, there is always a touching anecdote behind each one of them.

Bella’s case is truly admirable. The poor little dog spent most of her life in a concrete kennel in a Romanian city animal shelter. She rarely went out and had very little contact with humans.

The puppy did not hesitate to lick the hand of the person who offered her help to live better.

Despite being in a pet shelter, Bella was full of fleas and her health was not at all good. She had problems with her spleen and liver.

Even though her caregivers knew about her situation, they didn’t bother to give her the treatment she needed.

Bella could have spent her entire life in the pound, but fortunately, the rescue group Howl of the Dog intervened just in time to give this little dog a chance at a better life.

This dog encourages us to have faith in the good heart of people who love animals.

It all happened when one of Howl of the Dog’s staff members visited the kennel and saw Bella. He held out his hand and the little dog immediately licked it. The dog was sweet and gentle, and she clearly just wanted someone to love her.

Howl of the Dog rescued Bella later that day. They knew there was work to be done, so they decided not to waste a second. It’s well known that with vulnerable dogs, every second counts.

A good bath helped the dog with her flea problem.

She was taken to her shelter, where she rested before her vet appointment. Bella immediately seemed more relaxed than in her new place. She seemed to have instantly understood that she was being rescued and that she was safe.

From the first moment Bella arrived at the Howl of a Dog shelter, it was clear that the pup loved people.

She sat right next to her rescuer on a couch. Then, exhausted from all that had happened that day, she fell asleep on her new human friend’s lap.

Her trust in the kindness of her benefactors was such that it didn’t take long for her to fall asleep on his lap

She was so confident and relieved to finally be rescued, that she simply fell asleep in her benefactor’s arms as they drove to the veterinary clinic.

Bella’s vet appointment went well: the vet gave the little dog supplements for her spleen and liver. He also gave her a medicated bath that helped get rid of her fleas and reduced her itching.

After the appointment, Bella and her rescuer returned to the shelter, where she quickly settled in. The pet, who was also underweight, ate plenty of food. She relaxed and played with the other puppies at the shelter.

In the few weeks Bella was with Howl of a Dog she grew into a happy and content dog. She has not had an easy life, but with the right help, she is now recovering from her minor health issues, to very soon be put up for adoption to the perfect family.

Bella is now on her way to a better life

Thanks to the work of these precious heroes there is one less homeless animal, they changed her fate forever.
