The actor is the strongest man in the industry
Dwayne Johnson is one of the most recognizable faces on the planet for many reasons. His acting, producing, wresting and even tequila business are some of the reasons that explain his stardom. There’s one other thing that distinguishes him from the rest: his insanely muscly physique. There’s a reason why his nickname is ‘The Rock’…
Working out is a way of life for the Johnson. As he’s explained on many occasions, the former WWE sensation spends hours upon hours in the gym working on his figure, as well as consuming thousands of calories a day. It’s been reported that to prepare for his role as Hercules, he consumed seven protein-based meals a day which equated to over four thousand calories.
The actor has once again proved he’s not human with his feat of strength. The 6 ft 5 machine has uploaded a video of him benching pressing 110-pound (50 kg) dumbbells. What’s more, he was working out as midnight. “Midnight training and burnin’ oil. Tired, but we’re all tired. Build new mountain,” was caption chosen by Hollywood’s wealthiest actor.
The post, which has already received almost half a million likes, has been filled with comments from impressed followers. “Wow, he can lift me up with one hand,” said one user. “Damn, that is crazy,” said another.

But it appears ‘The Great One’ has been working just as hard in the gym as he has been learning the script.
The Rock shared two snaps of himself with his 241 million Instagram followers as he proudly showed off his vein-popping biceps and legs.
He captioned them with: “Big week for #BlackAdam shooting my ‘champion’ scenes with my shirt off and showing my body.
“Been working extremely hard dieting, training and conditioning unlike any other role of my entire career.
“Manipulating water, sodium, cardio but also having to push and pull real iron to have dense, dry, detailed muscle. It’s a real science that takes months and months to dial it all in with my strength & conditioning coach @daverienzi who keeps a very watchful eye, constantly fine tuning our strategy daily.
“As many of you know, the intense (and exciting) comic mythology of Teth Adam – he becomes the immortal ‘champion’ by the Gods. Blessed with the powers of Superman and dangerous magic from the wizards.
“Then his rage turns his soul dark, forever becoming Black Adam. Big week, grateful for the grind & support – here we go.”
Meanwhile, The Rock’s daughter is already making waves on her quest to follow her dad into the ring.

Simone Johnson, 19, reported to the WWE Performance Center to begin training earlier this year.
She is aiming to become the first fourth-generation fighter in the sport’s history.
Before her father wowed the world with his People’s Elbow and Rock Bottom, his father Rocky Johnson was a crowd favourite too.
And grandfather ‘High Chief’ Peter Maivia also strutted his stuff in the wrestling ring in the 1970s.
However, Simone is already showing signs that she is on the way to forging a fine career of her own.
Dave Meltzer recently reported on her progress Wrestling Observer Radio and claimed she is making some brilliant progress.
He stated she was the ‘most-improved developmental talent in squats for the period of January – May 2021’ and topped the rankings list sent around internally in the company.
After signing with WWE, Simone said: “It means the world to me. To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle, but to carry on that legacy.”
