NBA superstar Paul “PG-13” George was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers less than two months ago, but he and his longtime partner Daniela Rajic love the West Coast so much they’re remodelling their local housing.
George paid $16.1 miℓℓio𝚗 for a three-story, elevator-equipped Pacific Palisades mansion on L.A.’s Westside.
The Palisades home is famous. Since its late 2014 completion, the home has changed hands three times. In late 2015, former NBA star and Clipper DeAndre Jordan bought a new residence for $12.7 million, but barely resided there for six months before selling it to local hedge funder Curtis Macnguyen at a loss.
Macnguyen, who owns a portfolio of luxury L.A. houses, sold the estate to George in an off-market deal earlier this month for $4.3 miℓℓio𝚗 before taxes and realtor fees. It’s unclear if he ever lived there.
The Cape Cod-style behemoth, built on speculation by recognized developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati of Huntington Estate Properties, stands in the highly sought-after Riviera neighborhood nook and has more than 10,000 square feet of living area with seven bedrooms and ten baths.
The residence has spacious formal living and dining rooms, a temperature-controlled wine room, and Fleetwood slider walls.
The foyer’s lofty ceiling and beautiful staircase set the tone for the house’s open concept, elaborate wood paneling, vaulted ceilings, and hardwood floors.
The luxurious master suite offers a sitting area, spa-like bathroom, and a private terrace with Pacific Ocean views. The mini-estate’s backyard has a putting green, swimmer’s pool with waterfall, outdoor kitchen, and half-court basketball court.
The lower level has a home theater with tiered seating and wood paneling, a games room/lounge, and an indoor spa with a second pool, gym, and massage tables.
George has experience in L.A. real estate. While with the Indiana Pacers, he paid $7.4 miℓℓio𝚗 for a warehouse-sized estate in Hidden Hills.
Despite being cheaper than his new Palisades home, the San Fernando Valley colossus has 16,000 square feet of living area and an outdoor basketball court. Drake, Howie Mandel, and Vin Scully reside next door to him in Hidden Hills.
