Although fighting evil is also part of their duties, sometimes they come across small and adorable crooks that end up turning the routine around and calling everyone’s attention.

Police accuse a puppy of running away from his owner and punish him by giving him lots of love.

This is the story of an innocent little dog who was handed over to the police after running away from his owner. While it is almost impossible for furry lovers to get angry with them, there are times when it is necessary to take action and hand them over to the authorities for their “crimes”.

This is what the police in Bangkok, Thailand, did after taking in a stray golden retriever puppy.

The little furry fellow was wandering the Thai streets when he was spotted by a group of people who did not hesitate to alert the Lumphini Police Station. The police officers took charge of the mischievous puppy while they tried to locate the owner.

The puppy was only a few weeks old, looked quite healthy, his coat was very well cared for, it was evident that he had a home.

In an attempt to find the puppy’s family as quickly as possible, the police shared some pictures on their Facebook account. In a playful tone, the police officers began to argue that the puppy could be guilty of some crime, perhaps because he was so mischievous and irresistibly cute.

As they were in front of a suspected “criminal” they did all the corresponding formalities, even taking a mug shot of him, the typical photo taken after being arrested. The sign read:

“Name: golden retriever. Charge: lost”.

They also added some details such as the time and place where he was found. This adorable little doggie was charged but in the most tender way possible, he received tasty treats and best of all, lots of cuddles from all the policemen.

While some policemen were looking for the parents of the naughty accused, he was left resting in the police station with a warm blanket.

The tenderness of this beautiful ball of fur quickly became known in the locality, so soon dozens of people were interested in adopting him, but the police rejected all requests until they found his real family.

In addition, in case his owners were not found, they had already thought of training him to make him part of the canine patrol.

Fortunately, it didn’t take long for the owner of our adorable protagonist to show up. Gu Qin Yuan, a 24-year-old Chinese resident, was the lucky one to have this beautiful little furry dog in his home.

The young man did not take long to arrive at the police station and retrieve his puppy, no doubt, he was happy to hug his beloved pet again.

After the emotional encounter, Gu Qin told how he lost his puppy during a walk that ended in rain. The young man left the puppy in his backpack on a bench while he went to buy an umbrella at a nearby store, but when he returned it had disappeared.

Gu Qin was about to file a report with the authorities when he came across the post on social media. Finally, this beautiful little dog was able to return home, sure to make his owner’s days more fun.
