When a family adopted a puppy they were really excited about the second chance they were giving her. But they didn’t expect to witness the greatest lesson in love.
Undoubtedly, the friendship that is generated between dogs and humans is a fact more than proven.
A real and authentic bond is created between both, where loyalty, nobility and humility prevail as primordial values, mainly on the part of the dogs.

And the fact is that these wonderful animals know how to show us the affection they have for us, anywhere in the world, no matter where they are.
Do you remember the story of Hachiko, the dog that waited for his best human friend in a station in Japan? Well, this is a very similar story, but it happened in Mexico.
Vaca is a sweet canine who lived in the streets of the municipality of Chapala, Jalisco, in the west of the Aztec nation.
The funny thing is that, although Vaca and her mom were adopted some time ago by Zayda Zamudio, the furry one only sleeps and eats dinner at home.
Every morning she wakes up and cries for them to open the door to go outside.
The adopted dog desperately insisted on leaving the house every morning.

The reason for her routine chores is very simple. She goes to wait for Don Coco, a citizen who lives in the capital, Guadalajara, but works at a gas station in Chapala and must make the trip by bus every day.
Vaca goes to meet his best friend without fail. The day he doesn’t see him, he gets very sad and even refuses to eat.
The relationship that has developed between the man and the little dog is as close as perhaps none before.

She waits for him every day right where she knows his bus is coming. She is very smart. Sometimes, she is so desperate to hug Don Coco that she even climbs on the bus.
Let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to be greeted with such a cataract of love?
When Don Coco arrives, he and Vaca spend the whole day together. They have a tasty breakfast and then the hairy one accompanies him to his place of work.
She stays there all day. Once he makes sure his colleague is on the bus back home, he sets off on his way home to his family.

For her part, her human mother assures her that on Sundays, when Don Coco is not working, she prevents him from going out for her safety. These are the days when Vaquita cries the most, but Zayda foresees that something or someone might hurt her.
“She is a very sweet, intelligent and harmless little dog, despite her size. During the week I know she will be fine and return safely. However, she doesn’t know dates. On Sundays I’d rather see her sad than have something happen to her in the street,” said Zayda.

In the publication, the woman explained that don Coco takes good care of her. She also took the opportunity to say that she is very loved and that, in case she is seen in the street, she should not be harmed.
“She is sterilized, vaccinated, well cared for and always wears her collar, although it has been stolen several times. If you see her, don’t hurt her. She is well known and loved in Chapala,” Zayda wrote.
This is the story of a stray dog who was adopted but who, in reality, continues to go out on the streets for a very good reason.
Her relationship with Don Coco is one of empathy and comfort, companionship and loyalty.

Dogs have a heart of gold. From it emanates the courage to protect us in any situation, their unconditional love and their mischief. We hope that Vaca and her best friend continue to spend beautiful moments together.
