Unlike dogs, cats are quite elusive pets and therefore often run away from home with the intention of exploring other places beyond the home environment. More than one owner has wondered what their kitty might do during the hours he or she is not around, and one family in Brazil seems to have found out in a rather peculiar way.
This little guy kept more secrets than anyone would imagine.
His name is Tang and although he is no undercover spy, for him his identity had to be kept hidden. The reason? Very simple, this cat is a first class adventurer and swindler.
With his sweet eyes he can fool anyone.
Tang has been living with young Thaline Rayane and her family for a couple of years now, and has always been a very restless cat who likes to have his own freedom.
In the name of his nature the family let him do as he pleased, but when they saw that the feline was running away from home every day after lunch they became worried.
Somehow they sensed that something was going on.
Thaline thought Tang might get lost, so she resorted to the old reliable one: put a collar on him with the identification of his residence so someone could turn him in if he got lost. This brought more peace of mind to the young woman, who didn’t think what it would unleash.
Tang was ratted out.
Thaline always thought Tang left the house to explore and hunt some bugs, but it seems that hard work is not his thing. This kitten used his cute face for something else: to romance a family who decided to feed and spoil him.
Like a kitten in need, Tang knew how to win over some strangers and appealed to their kindness to trick them. But his plan was given away when Thaline put the collar on him, so the cat showed up at his real home with a curious note.
At that point there was nothing more to hide.
On the piece of paper placed around his neck could be read the following:
“Hello, we are Tang’s second family. We just found out he was cheating on us. He comes here every morning to eat his breakfast, we wanted to adopt him, but we found out that he survives quite well. Now we found out that he already has an owner, because of his red collar. Kisses! – Tang’s second family,” the letter read.
Thaline was impressed with her pet’s cunning and couldn’t help but post the anecdote on her social networks, as expected the matter went viral.
More than one user confessed to have gone through something similar, it seems that there is more than one feline with a double identity in the world. But this did not go beyond being a funny matter and now Thaline has decided to have a kind of shared custody and let Tang be happy with both families.
