Amy Haden is an animal-loving woman who has taken in several puppies and fostered several adoptions in her lifetime. Although she has been touched by many stories, nothing like the day she saw a puppy sitting on a piece of furniture on her front porch.

The little dog had the sweetest look on his face and with a pleading tone, his only intention was to get help. This is by far one of the most heartwarming stories and today we want to tell you about it.

This woman is a faithful defender of animals, in her home there are two puppies that came into her life dragging a past full of pain and misery. Fortunately, everything changed when Amy welcomed them into her home.

Although she has been a bridge to help many furry animals, she never imagined that the day would come when a puppy would be waiting for her at her front door.

The mysterious little dog arrived on the porch with no intention of leaving.

The little dog seemed serene lying on the furniture, but his look conveyed sadness and desolation, before the touching scene the woman could not help but record.

This happened shortly before dawn, apparently the puppy had spent the night curled up on the furniture in her backyard.

It is a young boy, Walker is about 2 years old.

Amy was determined to help the puppy so she approached him slowly so he wouldn’t feel intimidated, fortunately, he had no intention of running away, on the contrary, he was responsive and very comfortable. The woman, seeing that this was a very docile puppy, did not hesitate to pet him, it was a magical moment full of sensitivity.

One of Amy’s daughters was surprised to see a puppy on the porch, she did not understand how it had managed to enter the house. There was no doubt that it was not her pet and she was worried that someone had misplaced it.

To this, Amy said:

“No, this dog is not ours. Whose dog is this?” said Amy’s daughter. It’s not the neighbor’s dog. I know they don’t have a dog that looks like it. It’s just resting on the porch,” the mother scolded.

The dog refused to leave the property, so the woman contacted the neighbors to try to find the owner, but no one claimed him. She took him to the vet to look for a microchip, but nothing was found.

As all the strategies employed did not give her any information about the puppy, Amy decided to adopt him and named him Walker.

The microchip serves as legal recognition that the puppy is part of a family.

After a few days there was a bit of tension in the house, Walker did not adapt very well to his new home and had a hard time socializing with the other dogs in the family. Unfortunately, the dogs were very jealous and Amy feared they would get hurt.

A permanent home had to be found for the adorable Walker. Fortunately, it wasn’t long before this beautiful ball of fur found a new home, an elderly woman heard about his story and contacted Amy about adopting him.

“She told us she was praying for a dog like him and that we were the answer to her prayers.”

This little dog’s plan worked, although he didn’t stay in the first home that took him in, he is now the faithful companion of a tender grandma. Long life and good health to beautiful Walker.
