Have you ever seen something in the sky that seems impossible to explain? Like a spiral of light or a train of stars that moves like a conga line? In this essay, we’ll explore some unsettling phenomena captured on camera that are difficult, but not impossible, to explain.
On December 9th, 2009, Norway’s sky lit up with a swirling spiral, growing bigger and bigger until it disappeared ten minutes later. Multiple people caught this phenomenon on camera, and footage of the strange spiral made it onto news broadcasts worldwide. It turned out to be a failed experiment, a missile launch by Russia’s defense military with a damaged nozzle on the missile’s third stage engine, causing the exhaust to spin the missile in a spiral pattern.
In February 2022, thousands of yellow-headed blackbirds dropped out of the sky and plunged into the ground in Mexico’s state of Chihuahua. Experts theorized that the flock may have been chased by a predatory bird, disorienting and forcing them to crash.
Sometimes stars can be seen moving like trains through the sky. These are Starlink satellites designed to provide internet access coverage to most of the Earth, moving in a train-like line while the Earth spins below them. SpaceX has launched over 1900 of these satellites into space.
In 2019, astronomers released the world’s first photograph of a black hole, a point in space where the force of gravity is so strong that even light can’t escape it. Footage and images of a black hole hovering over a Russian town began surfacing in 2015. Luckily, it was just a simulation created by the rocksmus space agency.
Have you ever wondered if they are just natural phenomenons or are created by UFOs as well as UPA?
