In 2013, South African Park residents found a strange corpse lying on the ground. They had thought that the corpse looked like a creature wearing a long and thin torso, which might be of extraterrestrial origin.

Reportedly the carcass of this creature was found by a 17-year-old boy near Nature’s Valley, a holiday resort, and small village on the Garden Route, South Africa.

Since its discovery, various speculations have continued to emerge, ranging from the carcass of a donkey, Tokoloshe (a type of dwarf or evil little spirit), to a dead dog with a withered body.

The emergence of these various speculations made a doctor from the Crags Veterinary Clinic finally decide to perform an autopsy, so that the true identity of the corpse could be known.

After the autopsy process was completed, Dr. Magdalena Braum confirmed that it was a baboon.

” Anyone could see that it was a baby baboon.”

” This is a newborn female baboon, with her umbilical cord still attached to her body. Most likely killed by a bite after she was born, a sort of infanticide, which is very common in some primate species when a new male takes over the troop (herd). ” he said. .

Dr. Braum explained that his body was deformed (in a disfigured state) and mummified, having been carried around by his mother after her death, which is very common with baboon cubs.

” We’ve seen it a lot in baboon studies, where females carry dead babies, occasionally carrying them for three to four weeks in their tails, before finally throwing them away .”

However, it seems that the explanation from Dr. Braum was unable to convince anyone that it was a dead baboon.

” Its teeth don’t look like a baboon’s. While its head is loose, its legs are still very stiff ,” said one person who couldn’t believe it was a baboon.

Meanwhile, after knowing the results of the autopsy that had been carried out, some people still couldn’t believe that this mysterious creature with a strange shape was actually just a baby baboon.
