Within the framework of the recent visit and working visit to Belgium of the Hanoi Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Delegation, chaired by Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, Mr. Hanoi, Nguyen Manh Quyen, as the head of the delegation, visited and worked with the Belgimex Cattle Breeding Company (GA Belgimex) of Belgium, a company specializing in providing breeders with 3B (Blanc Blue Belgium) cattle breed. known as giant “muscular” cows.

It is known that the weight of an adult 3B bull can be up to 1,100 – 1,250 kg. It is not even uncommon to see cows that weigh more than 1,300 kg and can grow up to 1.4m tall.

In particular, the 3B breed is famous for its muscle growth in a completely natural way similar to that of an athlete and is often referred to as “double-layered beef”. Admiring the muscles of 3B cows, many people will think of movie star Dwayne Johnson, known as “The Rock” for his muscular muscles in Hollywood blockbusters

According to experts, 3B beef outperforms all other beef breeds in terms of meat yield (up to 80%). When used in cross-breeding programs among other dairy or beef cattle breeds, they increase carcass yield by 5 – 7% compared to the mother line.

Very impressed with 3B cow breed when visiting the farm of Belgimex Company, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee. Hanoi Nguyen Manh Quyen hopes that Belgimex Company will continue to support Hanoi in transferring advanced technology to develop 3B cattle in Hanoi in particular and other provinces in Vietnam in general.

Beef 3B will be imported to Vietnam 

Especially, right at the farm, Hanoi Cattle Breeding Joint Stock Company (HLBC) and the representative of Belgimex Company signed a memorandum of agreement on continuing cooperation to complete the transfer process of 3B cattle breed to Vietnam. and imported embryos of this breed to continue improving the herd of Hanoi and other provinces of the Red River Delta.

Mr. Christophe Cailteux, representative of GA Belgimex, said that Belgimex is willing to expand cooperation with HLBC to develop high-tech 3B cattle farming.
