Social media users in Egypt published pictures of a strange birth of a goat with a monkey’s head, while questions were raised about the cause of this birth and the fate of the mother.

The story goes back to a video clip posted on Facebook by a young man from Assiut Governorate (Upper Egypt), which sparked widespread controversy.

In the video, the newborn goats appeared in good health.

And according to Al-Watan newspaper , the goats gave birth to two daughters; One of them was in good health and was black in color, while the other was brown in color and had a head like that of a monkey.

The video capturer, Ahmed Hassan, said that he found the second newborn with a monkey’s head, and her mother was avoiding her and refusing to breastfeed her for fear of her.

Hassan did not believe what he saw, saying that the strange goat born was “a very terrifying shape, with prominent eyes, but it was standing and moving slowly.”

The newspaper indicated that hours after her birth, the little girl died due to “multiple birth defects in the head.”

And the Egyptian “Veto” website quoted the veterinarian, Mohamed Fathi, who confirmed that “there are many cases and in large numbers such as this case, which most often fall under the heading of fetal deformities,” noting that “many reasons lead to such a situation, including external pollution or giving Some medicines during pregnancy without medical.
