A pregnant puppy’s life was turned upside down after a kind soul took pity on her situation as she lay motionless on the side of the road, completely vulnerable and just days away from going into labor.

The man called an animal rescue center to come and give her all the help she needed.

Sadly, the reality for many furry strays is full of desolation, hunger and misery. Something that looks like a chain by not spaying or neutering the furry ones, leaving as a consequence that more furry ones are born in street conditions because they don’t have responsible owners who watch over their welfare.

Pregnant dog was lying on the side of the road, her life and the lives of her offspring were in danger.

Recently, the rescue center Guardianes de todos los sin voz received a call from a man who reported the abandoned dog. Without hesitation, a group of rescuers organized themselves and went to the place where she was.

When they arrived, they found a discouraging scene: a little white dog was on the verge of collapse, her tongue was hanging out and her strength seemed to be evaporating.

Her life and that of her pups were at risk, so they had to act as quickly as possible to save them.

The rescuers hurried and very carefully moved her to the clinical center, they could not stop worrying about the fate of the dog and her unborn pups, the mother-to-be was breathing heavily and complaining constantly about the pain that was invading her.

When the rescue center arrived, they gave her all the attention they needed, but noticed that her temperature was very high, which increased the risk for her and her babies.

She was very weak, but she had the support and care of a wonderful team that attended her at all times. To help stabilize her she was given intravenous treatment with all the required medication.

What worried her rescuers the most was that she had no mobility in her paws and the condition of the puppies.

Within days of her rescue, the puppy gave birth to seven adorable puppies, but sadly, two of them died.

Although it was a painful loss, her rescuers are thankful that they arrived in time and were able to help the brave mother, she and her five pups are out of danger.

Volunteers from Guardians of All Voiceless moved the family to a foster care facility where they recovered successfully. Fortunately, the puppy gained strength and began walking.

After only six days after her rescue, she showed such resilience that she no longer needed treatment. She had a voracious appetite and quickly revealed her sweet and tender personality.

Her story became known among the locals and several people came to pamper her pups and the brave mother who never ceases to amaze everyone by doing an incredible job.

This adorable furball is super happy to see her pups grow, she keeps smiling and giving them all the love they deserve.

Maybe she didn’t have the joy of growing up in a loving home with responsible people. But the destiny of her offspring already looks different.

It is only a matter of time before they are put up for adoption. We are confident that they will find the ideal family and will be able to enjoy all the love they deserve.
