Buzu is a homeless dog who was found wandering the streets of Romania, desperately looking for companionship.

No one knew where he came from, but what they did know for sure is that the little stray always wanted some love and attention from a human and a home to call his own.

Buzu was absolutely alone and helpless on the streets.

Unfortunately, Buzu’s efforts to find love were in vain. Every day he was met with cold indifference from most passersby, who went on their way with no regard for what the little dog on the streets might need.

One or another took pity on him and occasionally gave him a little food, but mostly he survived by feeding on the edible things he found in the city’s dumpsters.

For shelter, all the homeless dog had was a flimsy cardboard box.

But that wasn’t the worst of it. One fine day, when he caught sight of a woman he could perhaps move to adopt him, he could think of nothing better than to follow her as fast as his little paws would allow.

In his nobility of heart, he still held out hope that this human had a shred of the same feelings as he did, but it was not to be.

Totally sad and defeated, he returned to his corner, but found that even the bowl of food and the pillow that a man had given him had been stolen.

For home he was left with only this cardboard box.

Every day, for Buzu, there was hope in her heart. He wandered the streets, approaching people, with the firm conviction that this would be his lucky moment and that someone would see in him much more than a stray dog, offering him the chance to go home. However, that day never came.

His pitiful life on the streets finally took its toll. His skin became sick with severe mange and the rough, spoiled food affected his little teeth.

When rescuers from Romania’s Howl Of A Dog found Buzu flea-infested and sick, he was convalescing, waiting for an end to his loneliness and pain.

With much effort, the rescuers managed to gain Buzu’s trust. When the little dog finally realized he was being saved, tears welled up in his eyes and he hugged his rescuers.

The volunteers won the heart and trust of Buzu who had been waiting so long for this moment.

They then took him to the shelter and gave him the bath and treatment he had been needing for a long time.

Soon, Buzu became an extremely loving and friendly dog. The shelter found him a perfect home for him in England, where his new mother runs a doggy daycare.

Buzu received a good bath and all the care he needed to recover his health.

As if that wasn’t enough, Buzu also has cat friends to keep him company all the time – it looks like this pet will never be alone again!

It was worth it that Buzu didn’t give up hope. Although the consequences of a life on the streets were about to sentence his fate forever, the dream of this furry little cat who never let himself be defeated was finally fulfilled, just in time to enjoy the joys that are yet to come.
