A stray dog was on the verge of death, had it not been for the compassion of some people who decided to be that instrument of light and love that she needed so much, her end would have been happy.

The little puppy was immersed in pain and without any possibility of being able to move, her back legs were bandaged and covered with mud, fearful and with a sad look she begged for help.

The puppy, immersed in pain, was abandoned in the street.

Badly injured and completely vulnerable, the puppy was rescued from a street in Kolkata, India. Fortunately, the people who found her arrived in time and spared her a heartbreaking end.

It seems that someone tried to help her, healed and bandaged her wounds but ended up abandoning her causing her more pain and without any hope of surviving on her own. At least not in the condition she was in.

Her hind legs were badly injured.

The group of people who rescued her took her to a veterinary clinic where she received all the care she needed.

It was a challenge for the veterinary staff to remove the bandages that covered her hind legs, everything indicated that they had time, so they ended up sticking too much to the skin.

With a lot of patience they managed to remove the bandages and finally checked in detail the condition of the injuries.

Her bones were broken, she also had some open and contaminated wounds.

The diagnosis indicated that the dog had been bitten by a larger dog, she also had broken bones in her paws, her condition was really pitiful.

As if that were not enough, she had some open and infected wounds in several parts of her body, the worms seemed to be winning the battle, so her caregivers had to do hard work to get them out, they cleaned the area and let it heal with the passage of time.

Due to the intensity of her injuries, she underwent surgery several times.

For a while, the dog had half of her body bandaged, but this time she was in the right hands and getting all the attention she needed.

The sweet furry girl was named Scooter and taken to a local shelter where she was cared for until she found a loving forever home.

The recovery process for sweet Scooter was not easy, she underwent several surgeries, received many antibiotics, vitamins and therapies.

All the time she was under the care of the shelter staff, who always made her feel special and never abandoned her despite the difficulties she presented.

After several months, the dog smiled again and this filled with hope those who bet on her welfare and from the first day did their best to save her.

Throughout this process, Scooter was under the care of Alexandra Gade, who unconditionally took care of her for months until she found her forever home.

As time went by, the dog gained strength, regained confidence and revealed her tender and playful personality.

When she was completely healthy, she was transferred to Virginia-USA where she was taken in by Alexandra’s family, in her new home they decided to baptize her as Buddy.

A brave little dog who brought out her inner strength to fight for her life.

It was a challenge for this sweet dog to overcome her past, but thanks to the compassion of some people who stopped to help her, and other earthly angels who came to relieve her pain, today she enjoys a life where she is completely happy and loved.

A little dog that with her antics and her way of showing love has become the spoiled of the family.
