Mayhem, a sweet 2-year-old tabby cat at the Lollypop Farm animal welfare group in Fairport, New York, is looking for a new home. The affectionate cat welcomes visitors at the shelter with the hope that they would take him home with them.
He is a restless little boy who is constantly seeking for activities; his energetic and joyful nature usually draws attention.
The following is something that Lollypop Farm has shared:
Mayhem initially arrived at Lollypop Farm in early June, after its owner had abandoned it. She was available for adoption, but when her new family proved to be unsuitable, she returned to the shelter.

Mayhem wants to find a home, but for the time being, the shelter staff attempts to keep him occupied with a variety of toys and entertaining activities.
The shelter goes on to say:
“He has his own colony of enormous kittens, complete with cat toys, cardboard boxes, and climbing structures.”

The following was added by Lollypop Farm:
“As the staff members enter his toy-filled kingdom via the glass door, Mayhem taps on the door as if to say, ‘Come in and play with me!’ And don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
He is a smart and intelligent cat, and no one knows how to say no to him when he is searching for some play and attention; he likes being in people’s presence.
According to Lollypop Farm:
“To keep himself occupied, he has a lot of energy and requires a lot of stimulus.” It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we know someone who is seeking for a mischievous cat like him.

The cat appears to be yearning for a home, as evidenced by its repeated pleas for visitors’ attention. He is fairly lively, and the shelter workers feel he may be acclimated to a household with dogs. They hope to find the ideal home for this gorgeous cat.

For the time being, mayhem continues to greet passersby through the glass.
Staff at the shelter say:
“This lovely cat will undoubtedly find the perfect home where he may enjoy his favorite cat toys.”
