A little boy was the only one who could do it, and in an instant he won the heart of this pit bull puppy!

Nothing could cheer up this rescued dog until something unexpected happened. That’s why we share the emotional story of Nala, a puppy that thanks to a child was able to know what happiness is.

This dog was found in the street, completely abandoned and with the consequences of a terrible history of mistreatment, rejection and suffering.

She was rescued by members of Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue. She was taken to their shelter where the poor thing was terrified and very weak. They named her Nala.

The poor pitbull no longer trusted people, she was feeling down and thought she didn’t deserve to be loved….

A rescuer named Abbey Van Der Plas spent days trying to cheer her up and gain her trust, but nothing worked.

In fact, there was no way Nala would come out of her heartbreaking state of sadness; she kept her head down as she remained backed into a corner.

She tried to coax her out of the cage, but there was no way, she would curl up and growl from the corner. She showed a hostile and crestfallen attitude, as if telling them to leave her alone.

No one could convince her that out there the sun was shining and there could be a much better life.

There was so much concern for this little girl that Abbey was not willing to give up so easily.

She spent two very difficult days lying on the floor next to Nala for hours, waiting for her to get up. But, the little dog refused to trust her and nothing seemed to matter to her.

That’s when she decided to try something else. She couldn’t give up until she could show Nala that there was a bright side to life, and that she could still trust a human.

At that moment, she called her seven-year-old son Zach to sit next to her, and it was only then that she began to know true happiness.

Only the pure soul of this sweet child accomplished what seemed impossible.child

Nothing seemed to get the sad little dog out of that state, until she saw this adorable little boy. As if it were a miracle, the change was truly “zoo-surprising”. And Nala reacted in a way that no one had ever imagined.

Nala just needed a little more touch, tenderness and gentleness, something she could only find in a child.

When that happened, the little boy’s mother could not believe the great miracle of love she was witnessing.

Absorbed and in tears, she could only offer Nala the opportunity of a lifetime, and take her home for good.

It was clear, the boy and the pit bull were destined to be together, and they would become the best siblings in the world.

Now they live happily, Nala is a member of their family and receives all the love and joy she deserves and needs.

We can’t imagine what Nala must have felt in all those years she was treated unfairly.

Animals also suffer from depression and only the innocence of a child’s soul has been able to bring this little animal out of that state of infinite desolation.

If only there were more humans like this child, who would allow the saddest furry animals to regain the will to live.
