A fox rescued from a fur farm can’t stop thanking his hero

For years, foxes have been victims of unfair treatment by people who take advantage of their beautiful fur to sell skins. Not only do they hunt them, but they also make terrible breeding grounds to make sure they have as many furs as necessary for the profits of their cruel industry.

This was the terrible fate that a little fox named Woody was to suffer, but he was lucky enough to get Yaroslav. His story is an important reminder that we must help these beautiful animals.

Yaroslav saw a couple of pictures of the cute fox and couldn’t stop thinking about him. He contacted the owners of the farm and asked them to let him adopt him. They were not willing to just let him go, but offered to sell him to him for a huge sum.

They calculated everything they were going to earn for Woody’s skin and that was the payment they demanded from Yaroslav. It was no easy task, but he was willing to pay anything to save that little furry boy.

In the early days, Woody was a bit shy, afraid of all humans, and it took him a couple of weeks to learn that he could fully trust Yaroslav.

The little furry fellow had to serve a quarantine period after leaving the farm, so his foster father built him a little outdoor house outside his home.

Woody was very mischievous and would find a way to dig huge tunnels to get out and look for Yaroslav.

Now, this little fox’s rough past is behind him, his father feeds him and makes sure to take him to the vet every so often. They live together, but Woody has plenty of space to have his adventures and enjoy nature.

Foxes are not pets, but Yaroslav has managed to forge a wonderful bond with the little fox he rescued. Woody loves his new life and is always very grateful.

“Woody is like a mix of kitten and energetic, disobedient dog. I wouldn’t trade him for anything,” Yaroslav said.

Yaroslav consulted with several experts and for a while they considered releasing him into the wild. However, the beautiful little fox spent his first years of life on the farm and did not learn to fend for himself, most likely he simply could not survive without Yaroslav’s help.

Fortunately, he already sees the little fox as his best friend and will never let anything bad happen to him.
