What would you do if you were walking down the street one day and saw a small puppy very close to the road? Would you stop to look at it or would you try to help it?

This puppy was begging for help with no one to give it.

One day a young man, whose name was not disclosed, noticed a sweet white puppy on the street. It wasn’t the most appropriate place for a puppy his age, but he had to admit that the puppy looked healthy and clean, so he deduced that he had a family.

The next day the young man had to pass by the same street and couldn’t help but get a surprise when he saw, in the same place, the white dog he had come across earlier. At that moment he thought: if I walk down this street again and see him, I will take him home.

He kept his word. He walked down the street for the third time and when he met the puppy again, he took it in his hands and took it with him.

The puppy was lovingly welcomed in what was supposed to be his home, however, not everything was said about this little one.

The next day, when the young man left for work, the puppy took off after him, heading for the streets.

His owner decided to follow him, to see where he was running off to, and was surprised to see him return to the same place where he had once found him. Why was the puppy supposed to be obsessed with that street?

The answer would come soon enough and with it some heart breaking news.

An old woman passed by and upon seeing the little dog asked, “Are you still here?” The young man assumed that the woman knew something he didn’t, so he greeted her and asked her to tell him about the puppy’s story.

The woman told the young man the puppy’s tragic story. The little boy had lost his mother right where they were standing. The little dog was hit by an irresponsible driver and unfortunately died in the same place where the puppy used to lie down.

On that manhole cover, the puppy’s mother had passed away.

The young man was shocked to learn the reality behind the puppy’s insistence to stay in that place, so he decided to take the puppy’s adoption very seriously. She would not allow the puppy to suffer the same fate as its mother.

This loyal little one was just waiting for a mother he would never see again, and that moved Xiaobai, the rescuer and Samaritan who shared this story on his networks.

Without hesitation, the case moved thousands of people.

Xiaobai took him home again, this time making sure he would not run away again. With love and care he would forget his sad past and receive the peaceful and happy life he deserved.
