A woman almost lost her mind when she tried to look for her puppy all over the house. She was starting to worry, until she finally tried the last possible place: the baby’s room. Years ago, Kristin Leigh Rhynehart decided to open the doors of her home to rescue a little dog from the street.

Raven is the stray dog adopted by Kristin a decade ago.

She went to a shelter and soon fell in love with a cute mixed-breed dog she named Raven.

Since then, not a day has gone by that she hasn’t realized it was one of the best decisions of her life. Raven quickly became a loyal member of the family and when Kristin had a daughter, he had a very special connection with the baby.

One day, Kristin began to worry. She hadn’t seen her puppy for several minutes and it seemed strange to her since he usually accompanies her to every corner of the house.

She began to fear that she had left him outside the house or that he had escaped when she saw the door open. She started searching everywhere, with special emphasis on all of Raven’s favorite places, but no matter how hard she looked, the dog was nowhere to be found.

“I came out of a shelter with this little fella but I think he’s been the one who saved me. I gave him a home but he has given me so much more,” Kristin said.

Protective Raven was in the last possible place starring in a tender scene.

The only place she hadn’t looked was her daughter Addison’s room. The little girl was taking a nap and she didn’t want to go in there for fear of waking her up.

However, after exhausting all her options she knew she had to go there in order to find Raven.

When she entered the baby’s room, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. The crafty little dog made his way into Addison’s crib and they were both napping tenderly and placidly.

“I looked all over for my dog and he just happened to be under the covers napping next to my daughter,” the woman said.

The image was so touching that Kristin decided to record it in a video that soon touched the hearts of millions of Internet users.

When she uploaded it to social networks and explained what happened, her publication became a success and went completely viral.

We have no idea what Raven’s life would have been like if he hadn’t found love and a second chance in the home that adopted him. His family feels the luckiest, especially because they are convinced that he will be the best brother and protective friend for the little girl.
