A puppy refused to be separated from her mother in the hope that she would wake up, she was next to her body lying on the side of the road in a touching scene.

The streets are not a good place for any pet. There are not only cruel people or other animals fighting for a bit of food or territory willing to confront others for the sole purpose of survival. There are also dangerous places, such as roads or highways.

We ignore how many pets can be run over by cars every day in the world, but if we consider the millions of dogs and cats that live on the streets, the number should not be low, and this is something that we hope can change very soon.

This sad image pierced the heart of the angel who came to the rescue of this little puppy.

How many puppies have lost their mother or one of their siblings simply because one of them was injured by a vehicle when daring to cross a road or highway?

The list is long, but it doesn’t make us any less sad.

A little dog had been hit by a car while crossing the road to try to find food for her puppy.

Hurt as she was, she managed to crawl to the side of the road, where she was reunited with her puppy and there, victim of pain and without immediate help, she died.

The little cub could only sit by her side and wait, unaware of what was happening.

In her innocence, as happens to many other dogs, she may have expected to see her mother stand up at any moment, but that moment would never come.

Her mother was gone and she had to fend for herself.

This poor puppy refused to go on without her mother, but fortunately she was rescued just in time.

Fortunately, a passerby saw this and stopped to call for help. The rescue organization took in both the mother and the heartbroken puppy.

But, the poor puppy refused to drink formula and wanted nothing to do with anyone or anything.

Her heart was totally crushed.

She was completely shut down. They would give the mom a proper burial and take care of the little one, who needed them the most. They had to give her time to heal the wounds in her heart from such a traumatic time.

She refused to be fed, so they had to resort to another way to help her.

At first they thought the little girl would not make it, as depressed as she was, but they were not willing to give up and took very seriously the commitment to push her towards her wellbeing and give her back the illusion of living.

With no other option, they administered intravenous fluids to provide the puppy with the necessary nutrition and hydration.

The important thing for the veterinarians and rescuers was to make sure the puppy was safe, and they watched over her health.

Rescue personnel are working steadily to keep her alive as she gradually recovers.

It is still too early to overcome the painful loss of her mother, but we do not doubt that with all the love she is receiving, she will definitely make it….

And when that day comes, she will find a family that will give her all the love and care that, unfortunately, her mother could not offer her!

The puppy is doing much better after receiving some help, but she is still not over her sadness. With time and all the support and love she is being offered, she will be able to learn to live with her mother’s absence.

And above all, he will be able to count on the protection and affection of a family.

Dogs that survive on the street are unfortunately exposed to many dangers. It is important that we raise awareness about the importance of helping them. Rescue and adoption will always be the best option.
