The gesture of a lonely dog with the rescuers who wanted to help him left them totally bewildered, they did not imagine being led by the furry dog himself to a building and even less to read such a sad sign.

Bruno is a beautiful puppy who was abandoned. Fortunately, his fate was about to change when Lujan Videla and her boyfriend were walking near their home in Argentina, and saw him standing alone on a corner.

In this regard, Luja recounted:

“I was so lonely and disoriented. I told my boyfriend to stay with him and wait to see if his owner would show up.”

But no one came and after a while, Bruno started walking leading the couple to the door of a building.

“We followed him and noticed that he wanted to enter the building,” Lujan said.

When they arrived they came across a sign that was right on the front door.

“Do not let dog in,” the sign read.

The couple spoke to one of the building’s neighbors, who told them that until recently Bruno had lived there with an older man.

Everyone thinks the man may have passed away or was forced to move out suddenly.

Bruno was left heartbroken with no more news of his beloved owner.

Bruno’s loneliness already had an explanation, albeit a slightly confusing one. Bruno found himself out of nowhere alone and homeless, and apparently, he didn’t even understand why.

“Bruno was so sad. He was desperate to get inside,” Lujan added.

Some residents took pity on the poor puppy and started feeding him out front, but Bruno was so determined to get into the building that management made the sign so no one would let him in.

They had not a shred of compassion for his loneliness and demanded that everyone not let him in

“This situation makes you realize how uncaring people can be,” Lujan said.

The couple decided to help this poor puppy who had unexpectedly been left on the street.

After taking Bruno home with them, Lujan and her boyfriend spread the word about him, just in case his former owner or the man’s family tried to find him. But all to no avail.

For the first few days after his desperate vigil at the door of the building where the puppy lived ended, he seemed to come to terms with the reality of his loss.

But fortunately things soon got better for Bruno. Surrounded by the love and care of his rescuers, Bruno’s broken heart began to heal.

“Days passed and his face changed. He started to be happy,” Lujan said.

Lujan and her boyfriend had several rescue dogs at home and were unable to adopt Bruno, but they did the best they could by finding him a forever home.

“He was adopted by a very trustworthy person who lives across the street from where I live. We go for walks together. Bruno is very happy,” Lujan added.

Lujan revealed that she still resents the fact that the building management has done nothing to help Bruno.

“Some people don’t realize that they are living beings who feel the same way we do. Now Bruno is a puppy with a new life and he is very happy,” Lujan concluded.
