An adorable kitten takes advantage of every second of her life to show her adoptive father how much she loves him with tender hugs.

Undoubtedly, life for many people changes completely when they open their hearts to a pet, and how could it not, if these adorable little furries come into our lives to make us more sensitive beings and to know true love.

For Keith Reszoly, his life changed completely when he decided to adopt a kitten and make her a member of the family.

Sweet kitten loves to cuddle in her father’s arms.

It all started when Keith’s mother was at the vet one day and heard about a litter of rescued kittens in desperate need of a permanent home. Without hesitation, she called her son who rushed as fast as he could to the veterinary clinic.

It only took a first contact to find out which kitten they would take home. Although Keith was going to choose a kitten, a sweet kitten named Gladys ended up choosing him.

From the very first moment they formed a beautiful bond.

Mother and son were captivated by Gladys’ tenderness, without hesitation they took her home to start a new story in their lives. Keith commented:

“The first day I saw her, she was extremely friendly and came up to everyone, climbed on my legs, sniffed them and wanted to be cuddled.”

The kitten now named Gracie adapted easily to her new home, the first few days she would follow her father around the house and quickly discovered her favorite place to rest – Keith’s arms.

“She enjoyed being held like a baby in my arms. The first few nights, she would just sleep on her back between my arm and my chest. She hasn’t stopped since the day she arrived,” said Keith.

This beautiful ball of fur loves to snuggle next to her daddy, every morning she jumps on his bed every time she hears the alarm, it’s like a direct invitation to give her favorite person lots of hugs.

In light of this, Keith decided to change the alarm time to make his beautiful ball of fur happier.

“She jumps up when she hears my alarm (or that I’m moving around a lot), and lies on my chest. She usually sleeps there for an hour or two if I don’t move,” Keith noted.

No matter if Keith is in bed or at the computer, Gracie will always look for a way to snuggle into his neck or chest. She loves attention and will express with loud meows when she doesn’t like something. In this regard Keith noted:

“If I meowed at her, she would meow too. Gracie always meows if I don’t give her attention when she rubs against my legs or walks across my desk”.

From the first day she arrived at her new home, this sweet kitty has taken it upon herself to have her favorite person’s undivided attention. Every day at the crack of dawn they have a sort of routine filled with cuddles and sweet kisses before Keith starts his workday.

“I set my alarm 30 minutes earlier every day to give him more happy time,” Keith said.

It’s been a year since Gracie arrived at her new home and she is still as spoiled as the first day. Of course, she still loves her morning routine of snuggling in the arms of the person she loves most.
