The mother of this adorable ball of fur, Nakita Wilson, was extremely excited to see her family grow. Her puppy, an adorable French bulldog, gave birth to a litter of puppies but unfortunately they didn’t make it.
The vet gave the 31-year-old the terrible news, informing her that after the birth, none of the four puppies survived.
This was not only traumatic for the woman, but also for the puppy, who did not seem to understand the absence of her puppies.
Perrie was emotionally very affected, so much so that she didn’t even have the strength to get up from her little bed.
“When I brought her home, she wouldn’t eat or get out of her bed. She and I were both depressed.”
While no one is prepared for a loss as painful as this, Perrie’s grief was transformed after by fate or happenstance she ended up acting as a foster mom to a litter of puppies of the same breed.
The vet called Nikita to find out how the puppy was doing after the birth, also offering her a litter of puppies that had been cruelly abandoned by their owner for having a very short tail.
“The vet phoned me and started asking how Perrie was doing after the loss, he told me there was a French bulldog that had a c-section and they gave up the puppies because of the way they looked. I just had the disbelief that someone would do that in the first place. Because it didn’t have a tail.”
The woman saw this as a sign of fate and without a second thought accepted the vet’s proposal. Some puppies needed help and she was willing to give them all the care they needed, she was confident that her adorable ball of fur would be very responsive so she went to the vet clinic to pick up the abandoned litter.
Amazingly, when Perrie introduced the newborns to her puppy, the connection was almost immediate.
The French bulldog is a very affectionate breed. It doesn’t need much exercise and gets along well with other small animals.
Perrie was unable to enjoy her pups but her maternal and protective instinct was still intact, so she acted as the best foster mother for the puppies. She took care of them, fed them, helped them to take small steps, she was that exemplary mother for the puppies.
It is well known that puppies without the presence of their mother or the care of people cannot survive, being so tiny they need constant attention, so it was a real miracle that Perrie was available at the right time.
