A golden retriever with a beautiful heart has dispelled the myth that there is a bad relationship between dogs and mailmen or sanitation workers, and even with some people in her own neighborhood.

Admittedly, some furry dogs can be a bit cantankerous, but this is not the case with Shelby, a furry dog who has become the faithful and unconditional friend of a street cleaner.

The golden retriever runs out every morning to greet her friend.

Although Shelby only sees the man a few times a week, the little time they share has been enough to establish a beautiful connection that makes her thrill at every visit.

The truth is that the worker is also quite friendly and you can tell that he enjoys all the excitement that this golden wastes every time she sees him arrive or feels the sound of the truck down the street.

When he arrives it seems like Shelby hasn’t seen him for years. She misses him so much that she looks forward to him every day.

This gentle dog lives with her responsible human Joshua Byrne, the man who rescued her a couple of years ago from a shelter in the Carolinas, where they were planning to euthanize the helpless dog.

Fortunately, Byrne intervened in time and gave her a second chance, which I’m sure the dog is infinitely grateful for, and she shows it at every moment. For Joshua, Shelby has been a true blessing in his life because she is very sweet and kind, and has filled his home with great joy.

But we already see that the golden is not only kind to her family, but to everyone in the neighborhood.

That is why Mr. Byrne decided to record the welcoming ritual that the golden has with the sanitation employee, every time he sees him arrive in his big orange truck.

Far from being frightened by the thunderous noise of the machine, this seems to sound like a sweet melody to the little animal’s ears.

As soon as they let her out, Shelby excitedly runs to greet her friend, wagging her little tail with excitement.

This hard-working animal lover takes pleasure in petting her friend and showering her with cuddles during the few minutes it takes for her to stop. Meanwhile, the goldensimply willingly gets ready to receive all the cuddles and caresses.
