The Roswell incident of 1947 saw reports of strange objects in the sky, culminating in a rancher named William Brazel discovering a large area of bright wreckage on his property in New Mexico. Major Jesse A. Marcel was dispatched to collect the debris, but the army debunked the story, claiming it was a weather balloon.
In 1996, the Varginha incident in Brazil sparked a media frenzy after locals reported seeing a cigar-shaped object crash in a field. Military trucks arrived and prevented anyone from entering, and a group of girls claimed to have seen a strange creature with brown skin, V-shaped feet, a large head, and huge red eyes.
The Brazilian military said the girls had encountered a mentally unstable man, but witnesses claimed the US Air Force landed unannounced and collected the bodies and crash debris. The incident was covered up, but rumours persist that a video of the captured “creature” exists and could soon be released.
