A RUSSIAN fisherman has revealed a series of bizarre images, showing the alien creatures he’s hauled in from the darkest depths of the sea.
Fedortsov has discovered several bizarre sea animals that dwell deep under the sea – highlighting how much there is left to discover about what lies beneath.

One of the images – which Fedortsov has shared on Twitter – shows an eight-legged arthropod.
Another reveals a frightening frilled shark – a rare eel-like shark with rows of teeth.
The fisherman has also captured photos of the elusive chimaera, a fish more commonly known as the Ghost Shark.
The mysterious and pre-historic Ghost Shark is one of the most elusive creatures in the ocean and has fascinated researchers who have been desperate to catch a glimpse for decades.

Researchers have only just managed to capture the first moving footage of the animal, off the coast of Hawaii and California.
While it is called a Ghost Shark, the fish is actually a member of the elasmobranchs, which is related to sharks but not actually classified as one.
The species was previously known to make its habitat in the southern Hemisphere but appears to have swapped the south for the north, according to the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI).
Researchers say the sharks live deep in the ocean and do everything they can to avoid sunlight – which earned them their ominous moniker.

Known to be older than dinosaurs, they are believed to have evolved 300 million years ago.
