When a man found an innocent little dog in the worst kind of trouble with his tongue stuck in the gutter, he was shocked. He needed urgent help and it didn’t look like an easy task.

Nature can sometimes play a trick on us, especially when it comes to extreme temperatures.

That was what happened to this poor puppy that while walking along one of the streets of Vladivostok, in Russia, with very low temperatures. The creature was surprised by the ice that was on a manhole cover.

This noble little dog stuck out his tongue to lick the frozen iron surface and his tongue got stuck.

The incident was captured on video, which has circulated on social media, and shows when a willing passerby helped this furry friend after seeing him “tied” to the street drain cover with his tongue.

The temperature that day in the Russian Far East was around minus 15 degrees Celsius. It was inevitable that the whole environment was freezing, however, something caught the attention of this furry friend and he wanted to test it with his tongue.

This man, who was walking around the place, undoubtedly became the animal’s hero after spilling some water on his tongue to free it.

He did not imagine that an innocent lick would end this badly.

The images show the suffering of the four-legged friend as he tried to pull out his trapped tongue without success. No matter how hard he pulled back, the tongue was still stuck to the lid.

The expression on the face of this little animal was one of terror at the impotent situation of not being able to free himself and feeling pain.

Fortunately, at that precise moment, an angel passed by and, far from turning a blind eye, helped him out of the painful predicament he was in.

While the generous stranger poured all the water from a bottle on his tongue, he tried to calm the dog, who was in a desperate situation.

When the water ran out without success, the man called for help and quickly went to get more water so he could free the dog. Actually the effect of the water on the tongue had the expected result in a matter of seconds.

The incident has shocked hundreds of people on social networks.

Although the images of the video do not show the moments after the puppy was released, it was known that its tail did not stop wagging as a sign of gratitude and celebration for having come out of that disturbing situation.

The puppy was happily walking around sniffing the ground as if figuring out what it was that got him.

Luckily, he had the help of his hero who intervened in time to deliver him from his distress.

This little dog’s hero petted him and made sure his tongue was not injured. He bent down to greet the grateful dog and stroked his chin so that he could show his tongue again, seeing that it was in perfect condition.

The dangers to which hundreds of puppies are exposed in the streets are regrettable. If only everyone had angels like this willing to save them from the worst predicaments to give them the happy ending they deserve.
