A little dog with the most desolate look of all was sadly left to die with strange burns covering his entire body. The story of this furry little dog who almost got his happily ever after, touches the heartstrings of millions on the networks.

We will never tire of saying it, we must demand justice for all the dogs subjected to mistreatment at the hands of unscrupulous beings without a drop of humanity and compassion.

This time the victim was a puppy named Lamb who was abandoned with painful lesions all over his skin.

The puppy was found in a state of malnutrition and with a severe case of mange.

The puppy’s health condition was quite delicate. But luckily, volunteers from Sidewalk Specials rescue group found him before the worst happened.

The rescuers found him in a corner with the saddest look on his face you can imagine. As if grounded, Lamb looked with pitying eyes at the men who arrived to help him.

The burns caused him to lose some of his muscle tissue.

The men took him to a veterinary clinic where he received all the medical attention he needed.

Although the medical staff did not know how they caused his injuries, they focused on healing the severe wounds.

He was given oral and topical treatment to ensure his recovery.

Because of his condition, Lamb could not be in the kennel with the other furry dogs, he needed constant attention and special care. So he was placed in a foster home while he found a permanent family.

Although he looked very weak for the first few days, the little dog accepted the treatment, and how could he not if he was malnourished and had terrible lacerations on his skin.

Skin redness can take 3 to 15 days to heal depending on the severity.

Lamb seemed to be losing hope, but with the help of his new foster family, his spirits were lifted. Especially after he was given his first toy.

A small stuffed animal became his favorite thing in the whole world. Lamb clung to it as if his life depended on it. He wouldn’t let go of it for anything and always kept it close at bedtime.

His story shows us that all dogs deserve to be loved until the end of their days…

Fate for Lamb was successfully changing, not only were his wounds healing, after a few long weeks of treatment he received the news he had been waiting for so long.

Lamb would be going to his new home with a family that would love him above all else. He would now have wonderful people for the rest of his life and his furry friends with whom he enjoyed hours of fun.

Lamb soon won the hearts of his new family.

Although everything seemed to be going great, and for the first time Lamb was beginning to enjoy what it meant to be petted, to have his own little bed, to have real siblings for play and mischief, and to have someone to call mom and dad, everything took an unexpected turn.

Sadly, Lamb’s burns caused irreversible damage. While he got a fresh start, he was only able to enjoy his new family for eight months.

Lamb lasted only a short time in the hands of the right people, but he lived his last months completely happy and surrounded by endless love.

If there is such a thing as canine heaven, Lamb is surely in the front line. He left an indelible mark in the hearts of all those who knew his story. Let’s not stop fighting for these vulnerable creatures, even if they have few days of happiness left on this earth.
