It seems incomprehensible to us that a little dog is so extremely loving and faithful that it does not mind standing firm for a decade or a hundred years, if necessary, as long as it patiently waits for the ones it loves the most.

It is well known that puppies are among the most tender and faithful animals in the animal kingdom. This fidelity makes them cross barriers, passing as innocent, even waiting for years for the one who one day loved them unconditionally.

Bokshil is an adorable little dog who has been waiting for more than 10 years for her family at the entrance of the building in the hope of one day seeing them again.

Bokshil is now an adult dog and needs to get off the streets.

Some residents say that the sweet dog’s daily routine is to wait at the entrance near the guardhouse, but sometimes she runs away when she mistakes a passerby for her owner.

A local channel aired her story and it went viral because of how heartbreaking it is. A neighbor said that the dog was told to “stay here” and faithful to her order she kept waiting, although it has been a little more than a decade.

The adorable and very loyal dog is from South Korea.

SBS TV conducted an interview with one of the ladies who has been feeding Bokshil during all this time, and she commented that the family moved out of the apartment, leaving her in the middle of the street at the mercy of her fate.

The lady says that she heard the owner of the dog leave her while he was moving, she does not want to misjudge him, as it is possible that he did not have the resources to raise her, and that his goal was not to abandon her cruelly.

The end does not justify the means and no animal should have to go through something similar.

Several residents have shown their kindness and help the dog by offering her food and water, aware that she needs a better life they have tried to move her to a safer place but Bokshil puts up resistance, she just wants to keep waiting at the entrance of the building.

She would continue to wait her whole life because deep in her heart she thinks that someday they will come back for her.

At nightfall she goes to a makeshift doghouse that some neighbors have built for her, she spends the night among cardboard and waits for dawn to continue with her routine.

Faithful to her owner, the dog continues to wait without knowing that she has been abandoned.

Another group of people decided to act and managed to take the dog to a clinic, where she underwent various tests and was diagnosed with a senile cataract that prevents her from seeing at a distance. Perhaps this justifies the fact that Bokshil ran after some people thinking he was her owner.

Bokshil only received temporary medical help, sadly a few days later he was back on the streets.

Since her case went viral, thousands of people have sent her comments and wishes for someone to gain her trust and rescue her, to give her the warmth of the home she lost long ago and is still waiting for.

Being from a distant country, perhaps it has not been easy to get her the dream home for her, and above all, someone to convince her that unfortunately her owner will not return. We hope that at least she will receive all the love of the local people, until she is ready, when she decides to find protection and shelter in another family.
