Her adoptive father, Tim K., commented that his puppy has none of that bad vibe that netizens feel when they see her picture. He stresses that she is actually a perfect angel. In this regard he said:

“Junebug is, without a doubt, the sweetest dog you could ever meet. She loves people. And everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She is simply the sweetest little thing in the world.”

“We have a privacy fence in our backyard. Every once in a while, Junebug wants to see what’s going on on the other side of the fence. She lifts it up and hugs it. We let her look over.”

Tim’s wife was the one who took the photo, then they shared it online with a furry-loving community but never imagined the popularity it would have.

“For us, it was just a cute picture. It wasn’t until people itched to comment… She has a very intense look on her face,” Tim said.

Tim and her husband never expected their little dog to go viral, let alone think she’s scary. To them she is the most loving puppy and they are so happy to have her at home. Finally, Tim said:

“We have always been dog lovers. She is a member of our family. If Junebug knew all the attention she is getting, she would be thrilled.”

Junebug reminds us that first impressions don’t always count. After all, they are just earthly angels who come to show us their love unconditionally, some a little grumpier, some with more sympathetic traits, but all, demanding a little bit of love from you.
