Sick, with no hair and several tumors, he asks to be loved when a man approaches him

Can a forgotten, hairless dog become the fluffiest and most cuddly of all? The answer is absolutely yes, love can do it all. And if not, just ask Homer, who was found desolate at a gas station in Bali.

Homer, a hairless dog had his life changed by love.

Bali is another country whose streets are home to thousands of dogs and other companion animals rejected by humans. And although there are many shelters and clinics dedicated to preserving their lives, there are not enough.

This sweet hairless dog was found by a Good Samaritan identified by the name of Aaron.

In addition to his alopecia, the animal had several tumorous wounds on his body.

Aaron immediately got down to work and began to rescue him. He stood in front of the dog on the side of the road. The docile animal allowed himself to be hugged by his rescuer and can now live a happy life in his new home.

He went from being a sad, lonely, hairless little guy to the fluffiest, most cuddly little dog in the world. All this, thanks to the nobility of this good man who took pity on his situation.

What’s more, thanks to Aaron’s noble gesture of humanity, the sweet dog learned to trust people and to love again. He even beat a terrible disease that afflicted him and is now a happy, fluffy furry boy.

Following Homer’s rescue, Aaron, who is followed by thousands of users on the Instagram platform and other websites posted the story.

He said he felt very sorry for the indolence shown by most people.

“No one stopped. I’m very sorry for it. I don’t like having to post it, it breaks my heart, but it’s the reality here in Bali… If you’re squeamish, don’t read on, but I promise this will end as best it can,” Aaron advanced.

As our animal rescuer tells it, he spotted the hairless dog while driving down the street. He was just sitting on the side of the road, and his look was one of deep loneliness and sadness.

Aaron was the only passerby conscientious enough to stop and help the vulnerable one. He was worried that the dog would be run over at any moment.

As Aaron also recalled, he called for the help of some locals, specifically some workers at a tire store. Between all of them they began to whip the animal away from the road.

“It was hungry, dehydrated and obviously in a lot of pain. I thought initially it just had a skin problem. However, when I got closer I saw it had these tumors, which looked like they had burst,” the man described.

And, indeed, you could tell that Homer was in a lot of pain. It is unclear how anyone could have allowed the innocent man to reach such a pitiful state of health.

It’s amazing the change a little help can make.

Aaron tried to convince the dog to come to him with food, but at first, of course, the dog was very frightened. He didn’t show any negative attitude, though. Finally, exhausted and hungry, Homer let himself go.

For the rescue, Aaron was further assisted by the staff of the BAWA rescue center. The hairless dog received immediate veterinary treatment and Aaron covered all medical expenses.

He remained in the care of Sunset Vet, by far the best place Homer could be. The vets discovered he had cancer and was in dire need of chemotherapy.

But, Homer did not give up and proved that he was a feisty giant, but also the owner of a sweet, loving and gentle personality. After three months, the cancer disappeared.

Now Homer has a completely happy life and can even enjoy a well-deserved vacation.

Homer started to grow back all his white fluffy fur. After his full recovery, the dog was adopted by a good friend of Aaron’s who goes out of his way to pamper him and love him as he deserves. He is happy again.
